Getting here is simple, like I have said before….if I can do it so can you! From Kings Cross take the underground to Tower Bridge and from there it is a very short walk to this iconic location. With over 1,000 years of history, Borough Market is undoubtedly the oldest fruit and vegetable market in the entire city of London! Complete with an ornate Art Deco façade and bustling stalls full of gourmet goods, this spot is truly one-of-a-kind. Despite being shut down by Parliament back in 1775, local residents fought hard to bring it back to life two years later and have since been supplying Londoners with the very best ingredients and gourmet food that can be found! Here you have the unique opportunity to meet local farmers who passionately curate their products for your benefit and vendors who ensure that each item is simply delicious.

So the next time you are in London treat yourself to a trip to Borough Market, a must for any foodies looking to treat their taste buds. This huge market, tucked away beneath the railway lines, will tantalize your senses with British-reared meat, cheese, and freshly-baked breads, as well as small batch pies! Sample cheese of all kinds and browse the selection of wines along with racks fruits and vegetables. And that's not even considering the sweets section offering tarts, cookies, chocolates and more. Of course you can't forget the coffee and tea counters or snag a barista-made cappuccino or latte either. There’s truly something for everyone at Borough Market; it’s a paradise for food lovers!
